Job summary

Flagship Communities is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our Manufactured Home Community team. Primary responsibilities include painting, home remodeling, minor plumbing and electrical work, and landscaping.

The ideal candidate will work autonomously, observe all health and safety guidelines, and take pride in the quality of services delivered to residents. Must have property or building maintenance experience and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have property and/or building maintenance experience.
• CMRP certification is desirable.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows).
• Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
• Carry out general upkeep and other tasks as assigned.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in top condition.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
