Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking dependable, patient-focused Home Health Aides to support clients in their homes across our service area. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living tasks, monitor well-being, and document changes for the supervising nurse, with weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

Prior HHA training or CNA license is preferred; CPR/First Aid is a plus. Must pass background checks and health screenings. Travel required to client homes within the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of HHA training, CNA or STNA license, or 1.5 years of caregiving experience.
• HHA certification or equivalent per state requirements.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and ROM per care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support medication reminders (not independent administration).
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to supervising nurse.
• Record basic vital signs when trained and assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly home environment.
• Travel to patient homes for visits across service area.
• Complete required in-service training, including dementia education.
