Job summary

PurposeCare is hiring compassionate home health aides to provide one-on-one care in patients' homes across the Midwest. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily living tasks under the supervision of a nurse.

Ideal candidates are reliable, patient, and service-driven, with active HHA/CNA certification or willingness to obtain it. Flexible scheduling and ongoing training are offered to support growth and development.

Qualifications

• Active HHA or CNA certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services.
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism with vulnerable populations.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting.
• Assist mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises per care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support medication self-administration through reminders (no independent med administration).
• Monitor and report patient condition and changes to the supervising nurse.
• Take and record basic vital signs when trained and assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly client environment.
• Travel reliably to patient homes and assigned visits across your service area.
• Complete required in-service training, including annual dementia education.
