Job summary

Visiting Angels Midtown is hiring a Part Time Home Care Aide (HCA) to support clients in the Elk Grove and greater Sacramento area. You will assist with personal care, light exercise, meal planning, light housekeeping, and companionship, following each client’s care plan and wellness goals.

We offer flexible schedules and opportunities for training and career growth, with competitive hourly wages starting at $19.00–$21.00 depending on availability and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and able to work legally in the US.
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with shot record.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a valid driver's license, car insurance, and a personal vehicle to transport clients.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing companionship and support
• Responding quickly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take medications
• Assisting with mobility and appointments
