Visiting Angels Midtown Sacramento, CA is hiring a Full Time Home Care Aide - HCA to support seniors at clients’ homes across Sacramento area, including Davis and Elk Grove. The role offers flexible shifts, competitive hourly wages, and a comprehensive benefits package after probation.

The caregiver will provide compassionate personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning, and mobility support in clients’ homes, ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the US.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster per policy.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to pass extensive background checks including Live Scan and TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care and hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Encourage and support clients to meet fitness goals and daily activity.
• Prompt clients to take medications at proper times.
• Assist with shopping and running errands or grocery shopping for clients.
• Support mobility and ambulation, including accompanying clients to appointments or outings.
• Be prepared to respond quickly to medical emergencies and report health changes.
