Visiting Angels Midtown is hiring Home Care Aide - HCA to deliver non-medical in-home care for seniors and disabled individuals in the Sacramento area. The role emphasizes compassionate service, reliability, and ability to use EVV and caregiver notes on a smartphone.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in-home care (professional or private).
• Must be 18 years old and able to work legally in the US.
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with shot record.
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills - bilingual and multilingual caregivers welcomed.
• Must be able to use a smartphone for EVV and caregiver notes.
• Ability to pass extensive background checks, including Live Scan fingerprinting.
• Have a negative TB screening within the last 90 days.
• Registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry.
• Be compassionate, understanding, flexible, and have a true desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and disabled individuals.
• Match caregivers with clients based on skill level and personality.
• Schedule caregivers for as many or as few hours as desired and provide training.
