Job summary

Crawford Cc is seeking licensed practical nurses for a weekend Baylor/ program with part-time hours while offering full-time benefits and pay. Schedules include 3a-3p shifts, and a $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible shifts.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Supports and promotes the nursing department functions on the unit by following established policies and procedures.
• Is knowledgeable and responds to nursing and building emergencies according to established policy and procedure.
• Assigns duties and responsibilities to unit staff members in a manner that facilitates optimum delivery of care to residents.
• Conducts regular rounds on the unit and notifies appropriate personnel of findings.
• Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care.
• Obtain report from nurse being relieved and record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessary.
• Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action immediately.
• Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate emergency care and life-saving measures in the absence of a physician.
• Participate in facility education and in-service programs.
• Provide supervision to Nursing Assistant providing direct resident care. Provide resident care as necessary.
• Perform comprehensive assessment of residents as assigned.
• Promptly report changes in resident conditions to RN Supervisor, Physician, Director of Nursing and responsible party. Take follow-up action as necessary
