Laurel Heights Hospital seeks a Weekend Mental Health Aide to join our pediatric behavioral health team in Atlanta. You will work under the supervision of a clinical team to provide direct patient care, support daily living activities, and maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu for children and adolescents.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, supervising activities, and coordinating with education and therapy staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BA/BS in a related mental health field preferred.
• Previous experience with behavioral health patients or youth settings preferred.
• CPR certification and age-specific training required within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of the clinical team.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Maintain patient health data and records.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu including crisis intervention.
• Assist the teacher in classroom as an instructional Aide.
