Laurel Heights Hospital, a 112-bed facility in Atlanta, GA, seeks a part-time Mental Health Aide for 2nd shift to support youth with autism and other behavioral disorders. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care, assist with ADLs, monitor safety, and help maintain a therapeutic milieu in collaboration with education and therapy staff.

Applicants should be passionate about helping children with autism, able to work every other weekend, and capable of lifting up

Qualificações

• Direct patient care under supervision by clinical team.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu including crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with education, therapy, and BCBA/RBT teams.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a clinical team.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu for residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
• Support educational and therapy activities with students.
• Carry out safety, meal prep and cleaning procedures.
• Document health data and student progress.
• Work weekends as required and rotate units per need.
