Job summary

Laurel Heights Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Mental Health Aide for a part-time role in Atlanta. The aide will support a multidisciplinary team in delivering compassionate care to youth with a range of behavioral and autism-related needs.

Responsibilities include direct patient support, safety supervision and collaboration with therapists and teachers. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (BA/BS in a related field preferred) and experience in

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED required; BA/BS in a related mental health field preferred.
• Experience: Experience with behavioral health patients and youth is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision to create a safe, therapeutic milieu.
• Support children and adolescents with autism and other behavioral disorders.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Observe, document and report health status and changes to supervisors.
• Collaborate with education, therapy, BCBA, and RBT staff.
