Job summary

Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate Weekend Yoga Instructor to lead engaging classes at our Orem location. You will guide students of all levels through safe postures, emphasize body mechanics, and foster a supportive, communal atmosphere.

Candidates should hold a 200-hour certification (or higher), knowledge of anatomy, and experience teaching various yoga styles. Prior gym or wellness setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Yoga Instructor from a recognized program (200-hour minimum).
• Knowledge of body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology for safe practice.
• Experience teaching various yoga styles; pilates or cycle instruction is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate participants.
• Background in gym or health club settings is advantageous.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development; must be 21+ and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and safe yoga classes tailored to all levels.
• Demonstrate techniques and postures with modifications for individual needs.
• Educate participants on body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology in relation to yoga.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages community building.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to help practice improve.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space before and after classes.
