Job summary

Discovery Ranch South in Utah seeks a dependable Contract Yoga Instructor to lead on-site yoga sessions for adolescents in a residential treatment center. This role requires twice-weekly, early-morning classes on site with a focus on movement, mindfulness and wellness.

The instructor will provide safe, age-appropriate instruction, adapt activities for varying fitness levels, and work with residential staff to maintain professional boundaries and ensure a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Yoga instructor certification and/or teaching experience preferred.
• Experience working with adolescents or in behavioral health is preferred.
• Ability to adapt activities for varying fitness levels and abilities.
• Maintain professional boundaries with students.

We are seeking a dependable and engaging Contract Yoga Instructor to provide on-site yoga classes twice per week during early morning hours for students in a residential treatment center (RTC) setting.

The instructor will lead safe, age-appropriate yoga sessions focused on movement, mindfulness, flexibility, stress management, and overall wellness. Because classes are provided to adolescents in a therapeutic residential environment, the ideal instructor will be comfortable working with teens who may have a variety of emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
