Job summary

Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital in Orem, UT, is seeking a weekend Yoga Instructor to lead classes from 10:00am to 2:00pm. This in-person role supports physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and community building within a wellness-oriented setting.

The position requires certification (200-hour preferred), knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics, and ability to work with diverse skill levels. Must be 21+ and pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Yoga Instructor (200-hour minimum preferred).
• Knowledge of body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology is essential.
• Experience teaching various styles; Pilates or cycle instruction a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to motivate participants.
• Background in gym/health club settings is advantageous.
• MUST be at least 21 years old and able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and safe yoga classes tailored to skill levels.
• Demonstrate techniques and provide modifications for individual needs.
• Educate on body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology related to yoga.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere and community among participants.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space.
