Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort in Alaska is seeking a part-time Pilates Instructor to lead group classes and private sessions as part of our spa wellness program. The role includes guiding guests, maintaining class schedules, and helping promote resort wellness offerings.

Must be certified as a yoga instructor, with willingness to obtain further Ashtanga certification within 6 months. Weekend and holiday work is required; on-site shifts include mornings with potential evenings and private appointments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Certified Graduate from a Registered School of Yoga Alliance.
• Applicant must be willing to obtain certification in Ashtanga yoga within 6 months of hire.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the operation of a resort wellness program.
• Guide/assist guests through their wellness program and spa experience.
• Attend educational events and meetings sponsored by the spa and Sundance.
• Punctual and consistent attendance and performance of job duties.
• Daily setup and cleaning of wellness program areas.
• Promote services for the wellness program.
• Lead classes on a general wellness program.
• Teach private classes on specialized wellness programs.
