Job summary

McLeod Health in Florence, SC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to provide diagnostic imaging on a weekend-only schedule. You will perform radiographic exams, position patients, and operate imaging equipment while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

This full-time role offers a 72-hour biweekly schedule (Friday to Sunday, 7 AM–7 PM) with a $7,500 sign-on bonus and opportunities for continued education within a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Eligible for ARRT credentialing.
• ARRT certification within 12 months of program completion.
• Current South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure images meet quality standards for radiologist interpretation.
• Provide excellent patient care while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
• Maintain equipment and monitor imaging supplies.
• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Support organizational Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
