Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare in Charleston, SC seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under ARRT guidelines, using ionizing radiation safely and effectively to support patient care.

This full-time role offers 40 scheduled hours per week with rotating weekends (Su–Sa 8AM–8PM) at our Charleston, SC location. Requires ARRT certification, state licensure preferred, BLS, and EPIC/PACS experience. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Associate’s ARRT-accredited institute preferred.
• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
• State licensure preferred; BLS required at hire.
• Experience with radiology information systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient’s clinical history and lab work for licensed practitioner.
• Position and immobilize patient to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.
• Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verify informed consent and complete pre and post procedure documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic procedures and aseptic technique.
• Document orders and dose exposures in the patient’s record.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure documentation is complete.
