Kismet DJ + Lighting Services in New Orleans is seeking a creative, reliable part-time assistant to help grow the business. You’ll handle a mix of social media, content creation, and event support, with scope tailored to your strengths. Most weddings are on Saturday evenings; you’ll typically finish by 10:30 pm.

The role pays $30 per hour for all agreed work, with mileage reimbursed and flexible scheduling. No prior experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Help build Kismet's Instagram presence from the ground up, including attending selected weddings to capture content and developing an ongoing strategy for the account.
• Assist with marketing and digital projects, including Google Ads and website backend.
• Assist with production during events — loading-in, setting up, loading-out audio and lighting equipment, as well as occasionally running the lighting itself.
• No prior experience is necessary; we'll train you.
