Job summary

Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Port Clinton, Ohio is seeking an LPN or RN for Weekend Warrior roles to provide direct nursing care on weekends and ensure residents receive high-quality clinical support. You will administer medications, monitor conditions, and document care plans as part of the weekend team.

Qualifications

Current Ohio LPN or RN license in good standing.
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Dependable and committed to the Weekend Warrior schedule.
Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care on weekends following physician orders and residents' plans of care.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Complete nursing assessments and documentation.
Monitor residents and promptly communicate changes in condition.
Supervise and support STNAs and other nursing team members.
Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and changes in resident condition as needed.
Follow facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
Help create a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
