Job summary

Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Port Clinton, Ohio is seeking an LPN or RN for Weekend Warrior roles to provide direct nursing care on weekends and ensure residents receive high-quality clinical support. You will administer medications, monitor conditions, and document care plans as part of the weekend team.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Dependable and committed to the Weekend Warrior schedule.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on weekends following physician orders and residents' plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Complete nursing assessments and documentation.
• Monitor residents and promptly communicate changes in condition.
• Supervise and support STNAs and other nursing team members.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and changes in resident condition as needed.
• Follow facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Help create a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers.

What You’ll Do
