Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Port Clinton, Ohio, is seeking LPNs and RNs for a Weekend Warrior role to provide high-quality weekend nursing care. The program emphasizes a consistent weekend schedule and supportive leadership to help nurses balance work and personal time.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Dependable and committed to the Weekend Warrior schedule.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care in accordance with physician orders and residents' plans of care.
• Administering medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Completing nursing assessments and documentation.
• Monitoring residents and promptly communicating changes in condition.
• Supervising and supporting STNAs and other nursing team members.
• Communicating with physicians, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assisting with admissions, transfers, and changes in resident condition as needed.
• Following facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Helping create a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
