Job summary

Lincoln Crawford Care Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Weekend Warrior Registered Nurse (RN) for the day shift (7am–7pm). You will lead nursing care during weekend operations, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and ensure exceptional resident outcomes with a focus on safety and compassion.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs with LTC/Skilled Nursing experience, strong assessment skills, and a demonstrated ability to supervise staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active Ohio RN license or compact/multi-state license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including assessments, medications, treatments, wound care, and documentation.
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the care team.
• Supervise Nursing Assistants and support staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with residents and family members regarding care and progress.
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care and skilled nursing services.
• Respond to resident needs and support clinical operations during weekend shifts.

About the Weekend Warrior RN Role

The primary purpose of the Registered Nurse (RN) position is to provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care while serving as a clinical leader during weekend operations. The Weekend Warrior RN collaborates with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure residents receive exceptional care from admission through discharge.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
