Job summary

Lincoln Crawford Care Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Weekend Warrior Registered Nurse (RN) for the day shift (7am-7pm). This role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality care with weekend-focused scheduling and premium pay on weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active, and unencumbered Ohio RN license or compact/multi-state RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including assessments, medication administration, treatments, wound care, and documentation.
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise Nursing Assistants and support staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with residents and family members regarding care and progress.
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care and skilled nursing services.
• Respond to resident needs and support clinical operations during weekend shifts.

About the Weekend Warrior RN Role

The primary purpose of the Registered Nurse (RN) position is to provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care while serving as a clinical leader during weekend operations. The Weekend Warrior RN collaborates with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure residents receive exceptional care from admission through discharge.

Mandatory Qualifications
