Job summary

Cedarvale Commons in Washington Court House, OH is seeking a Weekend Warrior Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our compassionate care team. This shift focuses on weekend coverage with weekdays off, offering consistency, teamwork, and meaningful resident impact.

Provide safe, individualized care, administer meds per orders, document thoroughly, monitor changes, and support STNAs. Must hold Ohio LPN/RN license; long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio.
• Experience in long-term care preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable and team-oriented care provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and individualized resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Complete accurate nursing documentation.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes.
• Supervise and support STNAs to ensure quality resident care.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.

What You’ll Do

As a Weekend Warrior Nurse, you will provide quality nursing care to our residents while working closely with STNAs, fellow nurses, physicians, families, and other members of the care team.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide safe, compassionate, and individualized resident care
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately
• Supervise and support STNAs to ensure quality resident care
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Promote a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment

What We’re Looking For

• Current LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio
• Previous long-term care experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable and committed to providing excellent resident care
