Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Rhode Island is seeking a Weekend Warrior CNA for PRN shifts. You will provide compassionate hands-on care under supervision, supporting residents with daily living activities and safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork with licensed staff, clear communication, and adherence to core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence. Competitive hourly pay of $25 and daily pay options are offered, with the opportunity to work multiple weekends in a row.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Rhode Island CNA license.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Provide supportive care to meet residents’ physical and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable environment.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Daily Pay!

Pay: $25 an hour

Responsibilities for CNAs

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Rhode Island.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
