Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field with one year of supervisory experience in a warehouse.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise others in a team setting.
• Analytical skills to identify warehousing improvements.
• Ability to plan and organize schedules to complete tasks accurately and timely.
• Effective verbal communication with peers and staff.
• Ability to train employees on procedures.
• Team-oriented with goal achievement focus.
• Proficient computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).

Responsibilities

• Supervises one or more warehouse activities to meet production, sterilization, delivery and customer requirements.
• Assigns work according to production and sales demand.
• Collaborates with management to meet production and profitability goals.
• Ensures proper inventory procedures and accuracy from receiving to shipping.
• Interfaces with purchasing and planning to meet schedules.
• Communicates with Customer Service to ensure on-time shipments.
• Oversees paperwork and reports for pick sheets and production orders.
• Ensures safety, maintenance and cleanliness in warehouse areas.
• Reviews procedures and identifies process improvements.
• Supervises warehouse staff: feedback, assignments, transfers, evaluations, interviews.
