Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Material Handler to support operations by moving material and inventory, operating hand trucks and scanners, and performing packing, labeling, and counting tasks.

You will work a weekend shift Fri-Mon, 7:00am-6:00pm, and be part of a team focused on safe, efficient warehouse performance while upholding GXO’s 7S program and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic math calculations with or without a calculator.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Perform duties such as packing, scanning, kitting or counting products.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
• Work in a safe manner to protect yourself and teammates.
