Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Hillsboro, OR for a weekend day shift: Thursday to Saturday, 7:00 am–7:00 pm. You will move material and inventory throughout the facility, use hand trucks and scanners, and assist with packing, labeling and counting activities.

Qualifications

• Basic math ability and the capability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner is a plus.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand/sit/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Perform packing, scanning, kitting or counting tasks.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program and keep the environment clean.
• Work safely with team members to achieve goals.
