Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for the Weekend Day Shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:30pm) in Tanner, AL. The role supports operations by moving material and inventory across the facility using proper equipment.

A healthful, safety-minded environment and competitive benefits are emphasized. You will perform packing, scanning, labeling and counting tasks, while maintaining accuracy and teamwork to meet daily productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform basic math with or without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Pack, scan, kit or count products as needed.
• Verify orders and label products with a handheld scanner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Support safe, efficient operations for the team.
