Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; maintenance experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in the repair of warehouse equipment, such as conveyors, forklifts, and the periodic movement or replacement of racking, dock doors and levelers.
Coordinate repairs with outside vendors for warranty issues or duties outside certification levels.
Ensure all equipment batteries are watered and maintained per manufacturer maintenance intervals.
Support preventive maintenance projects and operational improvements on assets and equipment.
Promote warehouse yard efficiency and upkeep of pallets and skids; ensure safety protocols.
Operate forklifts and floor scrubbers and report forklift issues promptly to leadership.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment following all safety guidelines.
Flex into other positions/departments as needed to support operations.
