Job summary

WebstaurantStore seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and racking. The role coordinates with external vendors for repairs and tracks maintenance costs.

You will maintain a safe, clean work environment, communicate equipment status to management, and support operational improvements across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant maintenance experience in a distribution environment preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repair of warehouse equipment (conveyors, forklifts, racking, dock doors) and support maintenance projects.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and warranty issues.
• Maintain equipment batteries per manufacturer maintenance intervals.
• Keep a log of preventative and corrective maintenance in internal systems.
• Promote warehouse yard efficiency and safe work practices.
• Operate forklifts and floor scrubbers as needed.
• Report forklift issues promptly to leadership for quick resolution.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment following safety protocols (LOTO, PPE).
• Support daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals with team members.
