Job summary

Webstaurantstore in Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repair and upkeep of the warehouse and material handling equipment, including conveyors and racking. You will coordinate repairs with external vendors and track maintenance costs.

This on-site role requires at least 1 year in a distribution environment; forklift certification is preferred. You will work with the team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets while maintaining a safe work

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair of warehouse equipment, including conveyors and forklifts, and maintain racks.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for warranty issues or repairs beyond technician certification.
• Ensure battery water levels and maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
• Support maintenance projects, ongoing improvements, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Improve warehouse yard efficiency and pallet/skid upkeep and disposal.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and floor scrubbers safely.
• Report forklift issues promptly to management to maximize uptime and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following safety protocols (LOTO, PPE).
• Log all preventative and corrective maintenance in internal systems.
• Recommend repairs, rebuilds, or replacements of key components as needed.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work.
• Follow all company policies and be prepared to assist other departments as needed.
