Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead for our Omaha facility to oversee a team and ensure smooth daily operations. You’ll manage inventory, assign tasks, train staff, and ensure safety and compliance, with a focus on customer service and accurate orders.

The role requires 2 years in warehousing, 1 year SAP experience, and familiarity with WMS and handheld scanners. A flexible schedule is expected, including weekend coverage and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained and orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide development opportunities; recommend performance actions as needed.
• Utilize warehouse management system and maintain work documents.
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Maintain a clean environment per the 7S program.
