Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers for weekend per diem positions across Connecticut and New York. The role supports a fast-paced, patient-centered urgent care environment with weekend shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and a minimum commitment of two shifts per month.

Applicants must hold current state medical licensure, DEA registration, and NP/PA certification, with ACLS and PALS.

Qualifications

• Current State Medical License is required.
• Controlled Substance Registration is required.
• Federal DEA Registration is required.
• NP or PA Certification is required.
• Current ACLS and PALS certification is required.
• Minimum one year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
• Experience with common urgent care procedures strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages.
• Develop treatment plans and provide evidence‑based care.
• Perform laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, wound care and other procedures.
• Collaborate with specialists and healthcare partners.
