Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers to join our Per Diem Weekend Team across Connecticut and New York locations. Weekend shifts 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, minimum two shifts per month, with additional shifts including evenings.

You will evaluate patients of all ages, develop treatment plans, perform urgent care procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary urgent care team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current State Medical License.
• Controlled Substance Registration.
• Federal DEA Registration.
• NP or PA Certification.
• Current ACLS and PALS certification.
• Minimum one year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
• Experience with common urgent care procedures strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages.
• Develop treatment plans and provide evidence-based care.
• Perform laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, wound care, and other procedures.
• Collaborate with specialists and healthcare partners.
