Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for per diem weekend coverage in Connecticut. The role supports weekend staffing from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a minimum of two shifts per month, offering competitive supplemental income and the opportunity to practice at the top of your license.

The ideal candidate will have an active NP or PA certification, current state license, and ACLS/PALS credentials, with preferred Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

Qualifications

• Current State Medical License
• Controlled Substance Registration
• Federal DEA Registration
• NP or PA Certification
• ACLS and PALS certification
• Minimum one year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages
• Develop treatment plans and provide evidence-based care
• Perform laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, wound care, and other procedures
• Collaborate with specialists and healthcare partners
