GoHealth Urgent Care in Connecticut is seeking experienced Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) to deliver urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients. Clinicians will address acute episodic conditions, work with a physician when needed, and ensure an efficient patient experience.

Per Diem open shifts; 2 days in 28-day block including 1 weekend shift; 3 days of availability.

Qualifikationen

• Education requirements include a Bachelor's for PAs and a Master's for NPs.
• Active national certification and state licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience.

Aufgaben

• Assess and treat urgent care patients with a wide range of conditions.
• Function in lieu of or with a physician; direct patients to ER when necessary.
• Perform essential procedures and order/interpret tests and imaging.
• Document patient progress and educate patients.
