Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to join our Michigan team. You will help protect client properties, provide professional customer service, and maintain a visible security presence across assigned sites.

Responsibilities include patrolling facilities, controlling access, observing and reporting security incidents, and responding to emergencies with CPR/First Aid/AED when needed. No armed duties unless qualified and required by contract.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must not have felony convictions per Michigan law.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work) and stand/walk 8–12 hours.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional security presence and assist client staff, visitors, and coworkers.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of assigned areas.
• Control access, verify IDs, and enforce entry procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and administer CPR/First Aid/AED as needed.
• Liaise with client staff and site supervisor on communications.
