Qualifications

• ARDMS certification or equivalent registry required.
• Proficient in ultrasound physics and anatomy for radiologist-quality imaging.
• Strong patient communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders.
• Verify patient identity and history; obtain clinical information before scanning.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal image quality.
• Maintain EMR/PACS documentation and accurate study notes.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and privacy.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and follow infection control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists for accurate interpretation.
