Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a PT RN for Telehealth After Hours in Pearland, TX (weekends only). The role supports patient triage via phone, coordinates referrals, and provides remote care guidance. You will collaborate with physicians and clinics to ensure timely, quality care from home or on-site as needed.

The position requires an RN license in Texas, ASN or higher, and 5+ years of acute care RN experience. Remote work flexibility is available within Texas.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher required.
• RN license to practice in Texas in good standing.
• 5+ years of progressive RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Basic PC skills including Windows operating system.
• Typing speed of 30 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about available resources to patients and families.
• Record significant health history for callers and document nursing assessments.
• Assess callers using triage guidelines and offer appropriate care options.
• Facilitate referrals to primary care providers, specialists, and facilities.
• Communicate effectively with providers, healthcare teams, and patients.
• Lead and support team members during telephone triage calls.
