Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center, West Bank, and Masonic Children's Hospital locations.

This 0.6 FTE weekend day shift (two 12-hour shifts, 0700–1900) involves preparing the OR, coordinating instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and collaborating with the RN and surgical team to support safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Surgical technologist training or equivalent certification.
• LPN with MN license permitted if applicable.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as scrub person during operative procedures.
• Anticipates surgeon’s needs and supplies instruments and materials.
• Maintains aseptic technique and correct patient counts.
• Assists in transfer/positioning of patients and collaborates with RN.
