Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a dedicated weekend night shift. This role requires a permanent weekend commitment with night coverage from Friday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m., at our Chicago-area campus. The RN will provide evidence-based, patient-centered care, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes while upholding NMH values and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school/college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current State of Illinois RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care for assigned patients.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance the plan of care.
• Mentor and precept new team members.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards in nursing practice.
