Job summary

UMMC's Materials Management & Shipping/Receiving Operations seeks a Supply Technician for weekend shifts at the Main Campus Jackson. You will handle daily supply chain activities including distribution, replenishment, receiving, and delivery, plus warehouse inventory and a coordinated supply support system.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED (or UMMC Project Search), with five years' experience substituting; proficiency with MS Office, spreadsheets, inventory, and effective

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or completion of the UMMC Project Search program.
• Five years of work experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
• Preferred stocking, loading, replenishing or distributing inventory experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Audit and manage replenishment system, and resolve issues.
• Operate replenishment software and programs per policy.
• Set up area with scales, controllers, downloaders, probes, shelf registration, and mobile carts.
• Monitor expired stock and ensure proper stock rotation; ensure DN V compliance.
• Stock, maintain and control inventory; deliver and verify shipments to destinations.
• Order necessary supplies for assigned areas.
• Open, pick, close and distribute internal orders.
• Adhere to hospital policies, OSHA, and departmental rules.
• Create and submit daily system tracking reports for changes.
• Manage fleet responsibilities and scheduling.
