Job summary

The University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking a Supply Technician to support the hospital's supply chain operations in Jackson, MS. You will handle replenishment, receiving, and distribution tasks across the materials management area, using related software and inventory systems.

Responsibilities include auditing replenishment, setting up work areas, ensuring stock rotation and regulatory compliance, and coordinating with teams to meet daily supply needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Project Search completion acceptable.
• Five years of related work experience may substitute education.
• Stocking, loading, replenishing or distributing inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit and manage replenishment system and resolve issues.
• Operate replenishment software according to policy.
• Set up area with scales, controllers, downloaders, probes, shelf registration, carts and computers.
• Monitor stock expiry and rotation; report and resolve issues.
• Ensure stock storage compliance (DNV) and proper inventory levels.
• Stock, maintain and control inventory; deliver and verify shipments.
• Order supplies for assigned areas per policy.
• Open, pick, close and distribute internal orders.
• Follow OSHA and hospital policies and procedures.
• Create and submit daily tracking reports for changes.
• Fleet responsibilities and scheduling as needed.
