Summary
The Weekend Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Director and Assistant Director of Health Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing weekend functions of the Nursing Department(s), ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, and maintaining high-quality care.

Work Requirements

• Weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Twelve (12) hour shifts
• Shifts from 8am-8:30pm, 9am-9:30pm, or 10am-10:30pm
• Shifts start no earlier than 8am

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and evaluating the nursing service department and its programs, in accordance with regulations.
• Report on the operation of the nursing service department.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for seamless care.
• Complete nursing assessments, care plans, and MDS assessments.
• Ensure accurate documentation of skilled care, medications, and treatments.
• Perform administrative duties like charting, reports, and evaluations.
• Supervise and assist resident care staff.
• Participate in survey preparations and corrective actions.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assess residents' responses to treatments and communicate changes.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards and equipment use.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for residents and visitors, including managing campus tours.
