Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Substance Abuse Counselors for the weekend shift. A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or a related field is required, with licensure (LPC, LAC or CIT) to practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or related field is required.
• State licensure/certification to practice in this role: LPC, LAC or CIT.
• Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
• Conduct individual, group, family and couple therapy sessions.
• Manage clinical needs, services and aftercare for your client caseload.
• Prevent, intervene and de-escalate in crises.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress, relapse risk and interventions.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and treatment team for coordinated care.
