Job summary

Community Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling, assessments, treatment planning, case coordination, and recovery support to individuals with substance use disorders. Qualified candidates may have 1–2 years of experience, CADC or state certification preferred, and strong communication, documentation, and crisis-intervention skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in substance abuse or behavioral health preferred.
• CADC or state certification preferred; certification eligibility considered.
• HIPAA-compliant documentation and ability to work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling.
• Support clients with recovery and relapse prevention.
• Coordinate referrals and community resources.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical staffing and team meetings.
