Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires CSPDT or CRCST certification.
• Minimum of two years in sterile processing with instrument handling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operates as Lead Technician on Sterile Processing to train staff.
• Ensures instrument decontamination, sterilization, packaging and distribution are complete.
• Maintains OR readiness and supports daily perioperative operations.
• Coordinates with OR and other departments to meet service line priorities.
• Precepts and signs off competency for new staff and trainees.
• Investigates issues, proposes solutions and reports to leadership.
