Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners’ Banner Surgery Center – Gilbert in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Lead Certified Sterile Processing Technician to support CSPD operations across the organization. You will oversee instrument care, decontamination, assembly, packaging and sterilization of surgical instruments, ensuring safety and compliance with IFUs and accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, national SPD certification (CRST or similar) and a minimum of five years’ CSPD

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with national SPD certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of equivalent CSPD experience.
• Ability to read IFUs and maintain instrument integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation and competency validation for CSPD staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve policies and procedures.
• Maintain quality control for patient safety and process consistency.
• Communicate regulatory changes and ensure accreditation readiness.
• Operate sterilization equipment and document logs per protocol.
• Provide excellent service to customers daily.
