Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Stamping Press Operator Weekend for our Walker, MI client. You will operate a stamping press, handle setup from last-piece to first-piece, and ensure smooth feeding of materials into processing equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years’ related experience, the ability to read safety rules and quality documentation, and the physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds in a loud environment while wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three to five years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write safety rules, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform standing, walking, and handling tasks.
• Ability to work in a loud environment with moving mechanical parts and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stamping press including proper set-up from last-piece to first-piece approval
• Assist in setting up dies and related equipment following standardized instructions
• Ensure proper material loading and efficient feeding into processing equipment
• Inspect products at defined intervals according to work instructions and inspection records
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S standards
