Job summary

DENNEN STEEL LLC seeks a Stampping Press Operator for weekend shifts in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time role requires operating a stamping press, setting up dies, loading materials, and maintaining quality standards with strict attendance and safety practices.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience, with the ability to read and write safety rules and manufacturing instructions. PPE is mandatory in all manufacturing areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to read and write safety rules, production and quality records.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping press with proper setup from last-piece to first-piece approval.
• Assist in setting up dies and related equipment following standardized setup instructions.
• Load material from coil cart and ensure correct dunnage and packaging.
• Inspect product per defined criteria and follow work instructions/records.
• Verify certification of handheld inspection devices and gauges.
• Maintain clean and safe work area following 5S standards.
• Follow work instructions and scheduling; understand related quality objectives and policies.
